Snake hunt in Everglades 3A

First Weekend..

Slept in this morning till 10am. By that hour 2 weeks ago I had been awake for over 8 hours, had duck hunted, seen a beautiful sunrise and was already home after an almost 2 hours drive home. Spent the whole day today putting away stuff in the garage. Made a list of a few things I need for next season. Started organizing the fishing stuff. Thinking of hitting Florida Bay and taking the yak out next weekend. As I was going this it hit me though...turkey season is almost upon us. Opener on the 6th. Planning a few trips to North Florida and maybe Georgia but still thinking about what to try in a few weeks.

Its over..done..finished..completed

The last duck of the 09-10 season is history. Now off to bigger and better things. Fishing is starting to get rolling now that its warming up. A 2 night camping/fishing trip at Everglades National Park is in the works as is some hog hunting on private lands. March will bring turkey hunting in Florida and Georgia. April will bring more fishing and turkeys and before you know it the Mako will be looking for Dolphin. Its always the season for something

STA1W Youth Hunt

Great afternoon hunt at STA 1W. Son shot his first duck..a blue wing teal right in the middle of the decoys. The other youth I took harvested a nice fulvous tree duck as his first duck ever. Nice Job Boys!!
