So you didn't get any permits to the famous South Florida STAs. Oh well, all is not lost. Here is South Florida you will have plenty of other options come duck season. There are the Glades, or Lake O or a plethora of other public or private opportunities to satisfy that duck hunting fix.
TLS is the best system hands down when it works. Its just a matter of good planning and sufficient bandwith. No other system allows you to make changes on the fly and partner up with people to get the best hunting opportunities.
Luckily I will miss early teal and the annual mosquito and heat stroke contest since I will be in Ohio for Bow season. Nothing like losing 10 pounds in the span of 2 hours hunting 4 ducks in 10 minutes. Add to that the fact that the Gators are most active during this time and they just finished the annual gator hunt so there are surely nice and feisty.
The best part is that I got an STA5 permit on the day of the youth hunt...that should be fun.
